Apadent toothpaste
To make it clear to you on which teeth this paste was used, I will describe my teeth a little, because different people may have different sensations from use. I'm used to brushing my teeth with a Triumph brush and colgate or splat toothpaste alternately. There are no special problems with teeth. There are 2 fillings and one tooth has frozen caries, which is too early to treat, but it is not developing further. My teeth don’t hurt, my gums are fine, I haven’t had any problems with tooth sensitivity. So, I used Apadent paste for about a week, after which I began to notice that my teeth became sensitive to cold. Well, I decided to check if it was the new toothpaste. Soon after stopping use, sensitivity returned to normal. Agree, it’s not very pleasant to experience problems with tooth sensitivity from toothpaste that costs 1,000 rubles. For this, minus 2 points. Otherwise, I liked it: after brushing, my teeth are smooth and white, my breath is fresh (not deadly frosty fresh, like some toothpastes, but moderately, as I like). I started using Apadent paste, alternating with Splat paste. In this regard, the sensitivity of the teeth was not impaired. Using this application regimen, 60 ml of Apadent paste lasted for about six months. I did not detect any noticeable changes during this time. I can only hope that internally my teeth have become stronger and remineralized. It’s a pity that you can’t test this at home...
How is enamel strengthened?
Apadent paste with the Pro prefix is intended specifically for professional use, that is, in the dentist’s office. As a rule, it is combined with comprehensive hygiene. Both procedures take about 30-60 minutes and are carried out as follows:
- applying superficial anesthesia if necessary,
- removal of plaque and stone using ultrasound, Air Flow,
- polishing tooth enamel using a brush and regular paste without adding abrasive particles,
- applying Apadent Pro composition to the enamel, brushing each tooth for 15-20 seconds for better penetration of the active substance,
- Keep the paste on the teeth for 2-3 minutes, after which it is washed off.
As a rule, with minor demineralization, one application will be sufficient. For more pronounced pathologies, it is better to carry out the enamel strengthening procedure in a course that consists of at least 3 repetitions. This can be done both in dentistry and at home - for this the patient will need to have individual mouth guards made.
The strengthening of Apadent Pro in general has practically no restrictions - it is suitable for both children and adults. If you monitor the condition of your teeth, treat all diseases in a timely manner and do not forget about comprehensive hygiene, this paste will be an excellent assistant in maintaining the health of your entire oral cavity.
